Job Title	:	Sr Mainframe Developer
Relevant Experience (Yrs)	:	·         Expert knowledge (more than 3 years of experience) in Mainframe, DB2, CICS, Coolgen development
Technical/Functional Skills	:	·         Expert knowledge (more than 3 years of experience) Mainframe, DB2, CICS, Coolgen development ·         Experience with software configuration management process ·         Understanding of the SDLC ·         Strong problem solving skills ·         Strong communication skills ·         Accuracy/Attention To Detail ·         Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy. ·         Experience working in a large enterprise environment that includes the full range of currently available technologies from mainframe to the leading edge of current technology ·         General understanding of the financial business
Experience Required		Minimum 5 years
Roles & Responsibilities	:	·         Analyze business requirements and specifications ·         Participate in internal design in collaboration with the System Design Team and executing detailed technical design ·         Under moderate supervision, develop new application functions, or enhance existing functions, according to requirements and internal design specifications (code development) ·         Unit test and functionally test the code produced ·         Support the development team lead and management by providing regular status reports on assigned tasks. ·         Prepare data and functional test cases for unit and integrated functional testing ·         Participate in code walk-through and quality reviews of deliverables ·         Support the functions developed during downstream testing phases (variance investigation and resolution) ·         Expected to produce development outputs meeting quality standards, using mainstream development processes and tools.
Generic Managerial Skills	:	·         Understand key value drivers and role in enterprise architecture ·         Ability to lead small-to-medium sized teams delegating ·         Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization ·         Ability to work in collaborative environment.
Education	:	University Degree
