Position 1:

 

Location: Raleigh, NC

Skills: Oracle PL/SQL

 

Position 2:

 

Location: Windsor, CT

Skills: Strong experience in Oracle development including 6 or more years in SQL and PL/SQL and Stored Procedures

Strong in Oracle Fundamentals with exposure to performance tuning and query optimization

Good knowledge in Data / Object modeling, Data Normalization

Good experience in Unix Scripting and Batch

Prior experience working with very large databases

Knowledge in Oracle parallel processing techniques

Analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs

Hands-on experience writing and tuning queries and code across various Oracle versions

Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise level Oracle Applications and databases

Interpersonal skills to interact with team members, Communication skills to work effectively with team members

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to perform multiple tasks, and adjust priorities based on workload with minimum supervision

Working experience in SDLC

 

 

Position 3:

 

Location: Hoboken/NJ

Skills: Data Modeler

 

Experience levels – 6-8  years of experience. Need a solid, mature candidate – SA level to be totally hands on – Can look at M level candidate as well; but someone being hands on is the key

Communication – There will be a lot of client interaction also with this role; so communication has to be good. Depending on how you look at it; should be reasonably decent so client and teams understand what he/she says and he/she understands what clients and teams say

 

Responsibilities –

Aptitude for data analysis

Aptitude for basic database modeling

Own the data model for the application and be the custodian of any changes (this person will be part of a large workflow implementation project)

Own application SQLs and aid the team writing queries for functional needs

Ability to analyze/tune queries based on explain plans and other tools

Ability to identify right use of indexes for queries for optimum performance
