Interview Type : Face to Face in MA (Local Candidate)

Project Description:

The goal of this project will be to take control of an existing Java application and develop enhancements and new features/functions in accordance to the project definition.

Consultant's Day to day responsibilities:

As a core member of the project development team, you will be actively involved in the technical design and implementation of various components and core infrastructure of a Java based.
You will be working on the front end of the application using Spring MVC and Struts
You will be expected to perform unit tests and make fixes where necessary.
Create documentation supporting the application for both users and other developers.
And provide on-going user service support.

Required Skills:

5 years of application development experience.
Demonstrated experience with Spring MVC and Struts in an open sourced environment.
Experience in UML modeling, including use cases and class diagrams.
Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and iterative methodologies.
Familiarity with source code control systems like SVN / CVS.
Must be very comfortable with Unix/Linux as development environment.
