Need a DataStage Developer for a 6+ Months Project in Dallas,TX or Seattle,WA
- Over 7 years of extensive experience in System Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation of Relational Database and Data Warehousing Systems using IBM InfoSphere Information Server 8.1( DataStage, QualityStage), IBM DataStage Enterprise and AscentialDataStage 7.5/7/6.x/5.x.
- Java Experience with Threads, Collections, I/O, JUnit, Log4j, Servlets, JSP, Spring, JDBC, SAX/DOM parsing.
- Excellent knowledge of different RDBMS like Oracle 8i/9i/10g, MS SQL Server, DB2 and Teradata.
- Excellent experience in working with Server jobs, Parallel jobs, debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Expert in Data Warehousing concepts like Data Cleansing, Slowly Changing Dimension phenomenon (SCD), surrogate key assignment and CDC (Change Data Capture).
- Extensive experience in UNIX shells scripting to automate jobs, pre-processing files and checking the integrity of files.
- Excellent experience in XML stages like XML input, XML transform and XML output stages.
- Experienced in Data analysis, Data migration, Data modeling concepts and design,Data Warehousing assistance, Application Development and Production Support & all the stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including business requirement analysis and data mapping.
- Expert in unit testing, system integration testing, implementation and maintenance.
