- The ideal candidate must be a Front-End Java Developer with Section 508 experience.

- Locals preferred.

 

Areas of Responsibility:

• requirements analysis, and clarification

• solution design, development and unit testing

• functional, security & performance verification

• deployment support

 

Qualifications:

Front-End / Presentation Layer Development (Required – 5+ years of experience)

• Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

• JavaScript / JQuery

• Web Accessibility and Section 508 Best Practices

• Ability to code front-end to compliance

• Familiar with WAI guidelines

• Full Life Cycle Methodology

• HTML, XHTML, DHTML

• Java Server Pages (JSP)

• Object oriented design knowledge

 

(Desirable)

• Struts, MVC Frameworks

• Ability to code Display Objects, Action Helpers, Display Mappers

• RMI, JMS

• Rational Rose, Clearcase, Clear Quest, Unified Process

• UML

• JUnit (testing framework)

• OpenLaszlo and or Flash / Flex

 

Education/Experience:

• BS/BA in appropriate field or equivalent training and experience

• 5 years related work experience
