Location: REMOTE
Length: 320hr w/option for additional time
Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
The client is looking to migrate & assist with storage VMotion from Dell PIBS to block storage (VSP and VMAX) utilizing VMware VMotion (VSphere)
Requirements:
Requirements
1. Must have 5-7 years of Virtualization SME.
i. Analyze the existing migration plans and enhance/replace as necessary to accomplish the mission.
ii. Utilize the virtual framework ( Vmotion) to ensure that the migration plans and procedures properly tested and documented and ready for production use.
iii. Perform production migrations and manage the post-migration customer/technical team support functions.
2. Must have VMotion(VSphere) SME
3. Conducts meetings to discuss areas of customer concern and to obtain additional clarifying data.
4. Makes recommendations for corrective actions required.
5. Plans and advises on implementation of revised procedures, processes, methods or approaches.
6. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
8. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
