Job Description:
They will need to be able to address issues of Data Migration (Validation, Clean-up and Mapping), and will need to understand the importance of Data Dictionaries.
Advanced knowledge of data warehousing philosophies (Inmon, Kimball, etc)
Functional skills with Oracle and SQL server relational databases (including Toad, SQL Server Management Studio, etc)
Requirement Analysis (understanding business functional and non-functional requirements)
Agile development
Database Design (objects, optimization, DDLs, indexing strategies, etc)
Data Integration and Migration (strategies, tools, etc)
Functional experience with information services development (web services, data services, etc)
Data Analysis, Data Profiling & Data Mining
Proficient knowledge of enterprise disciplines (SOA, etc)
Advanced skills with the Microsoft and/or Oracle Data Management and Business Intelligence platform and tools
Advanced skills on ETL (especially SSIS)
Advanced knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Migration and Data Profiling Tools (ER Studio, UML Tools, Erwin, CA Tools)
Required Skills:
7+ years of hands on DA experience (data modeling, source to target mapping, database design, etc)
