Position:  Business analyst (Send only with Fixed Income exp)

Location: morristown,NJ

Job Description:

 

Experience Level and Pre-requisites:

• Excellent written and oral communication. The candidate must have strong experience documenting complex business workflows, business requirements and functional specifications

• Experience in Data Governance and Business Process documentation.

• Relevant experience in Financial Services industry, Capital Markets and Investment Products (Fixed Income) – 5+years

• Knowledge of trade process flows and organizational structure of Investments Operations

• Knowledge of the project and system development lifecycle

• Superior analytical skills and problem solving

• Demonstrate advanced communication and relationship building skills

• Strong Data Architecture background is a plus.

 

Scope of responsibilities:

• Conduct formal business analysis sessions with stakeholders in order to elicit and gather requirements

• Perform Data Quality Assessments and Data Profiling in order to identify data sources, document data definitions, create data stewardship procedures, and to implement a Data Governance structure for the Solvency II initiative

• Create data validation reports and report specifications based on data particular data characteristics and business rules

• Develop User Acceptance Testing plans and coordinate the execution of test cases with business users

• Design and document business workflows; Train business users in data governance policies, procedures and workflows

• Create and maintain project documents, document formal data standards, data policies and procedures
