Required Qualifications:
· A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in English, journalism or an engineering discipline.
· A minimum of five years’ experience as a technical writer in a technical environment
· Experience in documenting a wide variety of technologies (hardware, software, networks, OS (e.g., Windows, UNIX, AIX))
· Experience with document management tools, techniques and processes.
· Highly proficient in both oral and written communication skills.
· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
· Demonstrated ability to elicit technical data from subject matter experts and present the data in a clear, concise and efficient manner.
· Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
· Work with project managers to understand document requirements and content.
· Meet regularly with IT managers, system administrators, security analysts and other subject matter experts to capture information specific to compliance with specific PCI requirements.
· Write documents describing system configurations and processes in a concise and consistent manner to produce a unified document set suitable for compliance audits.
