Location:             Houston, TX

Duration:            6 Months Contract

 

Responsibilities:

- Serves as an expert consultant to applications developers to provide expertise on database capabilities and constraints.
- Performs data modeling; develops physical designs that demonstrate trade-offs between logical design and system performance.
- Establishes security and replication procedures.
- Demonstrates expert understanding of database performance tuning, data backup, recovery and security processes/ procedures.
- Expert knowledge of Large Implementations of Oracle E-Business Suite supporting CDH, HVOP, Financial AP and AR.
- Expert knowledge in Oracle RAC Database and Workload management.
- Knowledge of data replication with DataGuard.
- Expert knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite Applications , Workflow, Adconfig, Distributed Patching, Staged Appl Top, PCP.
- Expert knowledge of data architecture and design, database performance and capacity, storage and memory configurations.
- Expert knowledge of SQL Development, Database performance, and Java Performance Optimization and Debugging. Behavior Characteristics:
Technical Leadership skills. Must be well documented in preparing detailed execution plans and supervision of a managed service. A superior work ethic is required.
