Title: Functional Tester

Location: Harrisburg , PA

Duration:  6 Months


Job Description:

 


There are 3 openings for this requirement.  Rate is $30/hr.
 
ROLE: Functional Tester
 
• Minimum 8 years of experience in testing through a full system development life cycle including designing, developing and implementing test plans and test processes. 
• Deep knowledge and over 6 years working experience in state government eligibility programs that includes Food Stamps, Cash and Medical Assistance
• Understanding of Mainframe application 
• Demonstrate broad technical knowledge with strong documentation 
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to balance multiple task assignments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to live and work in central Pennsylvania
 
Preferred Skills:
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field 
• Any additional degree in the area of testing
 
Tool/technique Skills:
• MS Office Suite         
 
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
The most appropriate match will be folks who worked in the County Assistance Office with the State or an augmented staff.  The other set of resources will be testers on projects that serviced Integrated Eligibility - Cash, Food Stamp and Medicaid eligibility programs.  Preference will be someone from PA since they will know the system, but other State (program knowledge match) will also work.
