            o Understand Web technical constraints vs. client/server

Understand best practices in web system navigation 

Interact with the Client and stakeholders to gather requirements. 

Conceptualize the Portal layout 

Use various prototyping tools to create page flows and schematics 

Apply an expert understanding of user interface technologies 

Browser Dependent / Independent Features HTML / DHTML / JavaScript  Understanding of XML / XSL/XHTML

Understanding of JSP / Java / Servlets /Applets/ASP.Net/PHP 

Use various web editing tools and techniques 

Create cleanly coded templates that are easily applied and extended 

Build and refine HTML prototypes 

Translate digital content (e.g., Microsoft Word to HTML or PDF) 

Maintain coding standards and guidelines

-->User Interface Design (L2) - 1-2 years experience in User interface Design Will work closely with Agile programmers , product users and other stakeholders of a tool to build the user interface for the tools

 

-->HTML (L2) - Programmer:  Should be able to write programs independently in a project involving HTML / Scripts.

            1) Proficiency in JavaScript, with heavy experience in object-oriented JavaScript development i.e. Should be well versed with advance Java Scripts features like Cookies, JS Validations, Handling Animation, adding eventsiming events, javascripts object etc.

            2) Able to generate the ad-hoc reports dynamically or develop functionality/application using PHP,HTML, Perl and relational database i.e code, test and debug websites and web-based applications using PHP or JavaScript, SQL, and stored procedures asapplicable.

            3) Good to have a exposure in Macromedia Flash, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe PhotoShop and CGI

            4) Should have exposure inconceptualization/architecing/designing the website/application development using HTML/Java Scripts and should have good knowledge on OOAD.

            5) Should haveInternet based Client-Server Architecture

            6) Able to install and Administrate the server like IIS Tomcat

            7) Highly proficient in identifying and solvingcross-browser/operating system compatibility issues relating to HTML,JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS

            8) In-depth knowledge of implementing HTML/CSSarchitecture , pure CSS-based page layouts

            9) Provide accurate estimates forproposed work and recommend potential alternatives when appropriate

            10) Shouldknow how to write and execute unit test cases
