The consultant will belong to the Rapid Application Development team of a large organization. The consultant will be part of a small project team consisting of an SME, DBA, hardware engineer and data mapping expert. The consultant will provide both logical and physical data modeling expertise for the project. The task is to design and construct a Clinical Data Warehouse and associated data mart and OLAP structures.
Responsibilities:
Work with the project team to gather requirements and provide logical and physical data modeling expertise for the construction of a Data Warehouse to include a normalized base layer, one or more data mart layers and OLAP reporting structures.
Qualifications:
Data modeling experience. Health Care insurance experience preferred. Experience with ERwin preferred. Experience with Industry Data Models (i.e., IBM, Teradata, ADRM) preferred. Experience with Facets a plus. Knowledge of DB2 LUW a plus.
