PDS is seeking an BI Architect for an open position in Irving, TX. Job Responsibilities (Day to day duties) • Understand existing architecture and map it in VISIO and/or powerpoint • Participate in business requirements analysis sessions • Identify and document functional and derived requirements and map them to customer requirements • Identify and document system requirements taking into account functional requirements as well as performance, functionality, and supportability, etc. • Complete functional and technical design deliverables • Identify changes, analyze the impact of change and provide detailed assessments to determine the LOE • Participate in technical interchange meetings • Adhere to and contribute to development standards • Escalate issues to development teams, other support organizations and third parties as appropriate. Desired Skills: • Hands-on experience working with Data Warehouses, Hyperion based Reporting as well as ERP and Enterprise Architecture. • Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of various industry standard technologies including but not limited to Oracle (incl. Hyperion), SAP BW etc. • Must be a team player and have good communications skills Years Experience in general and/or per skill • 8+ yrs of experience as business analyst with 5+ years in a Business Intelligence related role |
