| Additional Information | Required Skills: | The ideal candidate requires the following:
Relevant Experience: 4-6 yrs
1.) Will demonstrate a very good working knowledge of Wise Package Studio, VB scripting, Powershell and Microsoft Windows installer technology.
2.) Will perform full life cycle of software packaging including definition, requirements gathering, analysis, packaging, and customizations.
3.) Will develop, package, and support applications to update systems to the latest build.
4.) Will create Windows installer packages using Wise Package Studio.
5.) Will provide packaging solutions using wise scripting, silent installs, and conflict resolution. Will demonstrate a good working knowledge of GPOs and Active Directory.
6.) Will need a solid understanding of the Windows security components and permissions.
This position requires excellent and proven attention to details, process and discipline for production environment IT Operations and a willingness to work in a complex and dynamic environment. It requires the commitment to completing the job on time with quality results. The candidate must have experience supporting enterprise class customers with the solutions identified below. The candidate must also be familiar with and have implemented best practices in an enterprise environment.
Work Experience Requirements
? MSI and EXE application packaging experience using Wise Package Studio, SMSInstaller, InstallShield, vbscript and / or powershell scripting is required.
? Experience with SMS/SCCM administration with specialization in MDT integration, upgrades, and software deployments
? Windows XP / 7 technical support experience with advanced knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting
? Experience with Microsoft Office 2003 / 2007 /2010 products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project, Internet Explorer and VMWare
? Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, IPSec, and thin/thick/web application architectures.
? Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008 and Windows 2003 / 2008 Server
? Windows Server Active Directory technical support experience with advanced knowledge of OU structures, AD security, local and group policy, and various scripting languages including Visual Basic Scripting.
? Applicant must have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills | | Desired Skills: | Candidates should be able to start ASAP and be local to Wayne NJ. | | Additional Information: | Supporting International Specialty Products for Our client.
2 Resources are needed for this role. (Very similiar to the other role - however this requires a bit less in exp.) | | Daily Work Description | We have a project supporting Our client that involves testing and packaging a high volume of software applications.
Big picture, these resources are going to be performing cradle to grave application testing, packaging as necessary leveraging Wise Packaging Studio, and then working with end users to validate the application works correctly afterward. Good communication skills essential, as is experience with Wise Packaging studio.
