Job Description:

Data Network Engineer Description • As a member of the Life Cycle Management team the primary responsibility of this position is to support the data engineering needs of the clients network in an outsourcing environment. • High level individual contributor engineer conducting network design, implementation and/or configuration activities. • Supported technologies/components include: routers and switches, wireless, load balancers, firewalls and DNS/DHCP. • Develops implements and maintains engineering standards and practices. • Build and ship new hardware, perform test and turn up, engineer and coordinate implementation of changes to existing devices. • Coordinate with and interact as an advocate to 3rd party vendors. • Respond to daily operational issues, resolve technical issues as well as troubleshoot with vendors, customers, and peers, and perform root cause analysis. • Effectively manage work load using Workflow Management tools. • Manages special projects on an as-needed basis. • Weekend and evening work is often required. • This is an onsite client facing role in Memphis, TN. Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Technical expertise in the fundamentals of network design in more than one area of network engineering • Experience in implementing and maintaining complex designs • Five or more years of data network engineering WAN/LAN experience • Wireless network engineering experience • Strong organizational, communication (both written and oral), and interpersonal skills • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills required • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time • Strong Customer Relationship Management skills • Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams and clients • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation on devices, applications and systems • Proficient with Visio • CCNA Certification Desired Qualifications: • Load balancers configuration experience • DNS/DHCP configuration experience • Firewall and VPN configuration experience • PCI Compliance Experience • Bachelors degree in technical discipline • CCNP/CCIE desired • ITIL desired
