We are having a new requirement for
Datastage Lead position here in Boston,MA.

 

Position:
Datastage Lead
Location: Boston,MA
Duration: 6-12+Months


Job Description:

We need a DataStage Tech lead who has experience around DataStage 8.x including complex flat file stage, surrogate key generator stage, lookup stage, and join stage.
Some health insurance background is a nice to have but not required.
Ø They need to have managed teams of 4-6 developers as well as have good communication skills.
Ø
I can get interviews ASAP for the right candidate with an anticipated start date of Sep 11th.

Here is the full requirement.
Ø
7-9 years experience in computer applications development and/or system analyst position with experience in the health care industry.
Ø
Experience in systems development life cycles.
Ø
Experience in programming languages (e.g. Visual Basic, Java, COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, SAS, SQL, ASP.NET, C#, HTML).
Ø
Knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure.
Ø
Experience in structured and/or object-oriented programming techniques.
Ø
Experience in various Information Technology platforms (Client Server, Data Warehouse, Internet/Intranet, Electronic Commerce, etc) and how each fits within and/or complements the enterprise architecture.
Ø
Ability to coach and mentor teammates.
Ø
Knowledge of project methodologies.
Ø
Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure issues * business and I/S.
Ø
Demonstrated strong analytic abilities and strong problem solving skills.
Ø
Ability to think strategically
Ø
Good understanding of business continuity concepts and value.
Ø
Strong Development Skills needed with IBM Information Server ( DataStage , QualityStage), SQL (Stored Procs) and KSH.
Ø
Development Environment: Sun M5000, Sun Solaris 10, DataStage 8.x, Sybase IQ, SQL / Server
