The FatWire Engineer position would lead engineering, documenting, and installing FatWire Content Server in a shared Linux / WebSphere Application Server environment. Responsible for diagnosing, identifying root cause, and resolving CMS product issues that may arise. Would develop new tools and processes as required to enable effective use of FatWire products by application development teams and server hosting system administrators. Other responsibilities include researching new FatWire Content Server releases and managing version usage/lifecycle in a global enterprise.
Skills Required:
In depth knowledge of Web Content Mangement Systems (WCMS) and Web Experience Management (WEM). Thorough understanding of Java application server framework. Ability to develop comprehensive product test plans, including release management. 2+ years usage of UNIX operating systems. 2+ years administration of Java application servers.

Experience Required:

Experience Preferred:
2+ years in FaWire installation, configuration and support, or formal FatWire administration training. Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management. Must be highly collaborative and able to work with different teams. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. 1+ years WebSphere administration. 1+ years development/maintenance in UNIX shell scripting. 1+ years SQL database programming (SQL Server or Oracle). Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint 2010. On-Site resource ( Dearborn , MI ) required due to frequent interaction with other engineering, operations, and development teams based in ITHQ, iTek, and FMCC. Occasional weekend and after-hours required to implement software upgrades.
Education Required:
Required: High School Diploma with some postgraduate training in a technical discipline. Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
