Description:
This position requires a combination of software architecture and development skills centered on the Microsoft .NET platform. This individual will be a member of IT development team supporting the Windows Operating System at Ford. They will be responsible for: * Gathering requirements for new custom Windows tools or technologies to improve deployment and maintenance of the Windows platform. * Developing custom tools and utilities in .NET using system APIs for Windows.applying best practices, design patterns, and object-oriented analysis and design to their work. * Package and integrate software to be distributed to the Windows client through software delivery transports like SMS. * Provide 3rd level technical support for Windows Operating system and custom tools. * Maintain documentation for custom tools.
Required Skills:
* Define and document requirements
* Develop in .NET Programming Languages . C-Sharp, VB.NET
* Package software with InstallShield, WISE Package Studio, WiX (or equivalent)
* 5+ years designing and developing applications with .NET
* A background in formal development methodologies
* IT experience supporting large enterprise (25K+ clients)
* Gathered requirements and developed of applications for large enterprise
* 5+ years packaging software (InstallShield/WISE) and deploying software (SMS) in large enterprise
