Location: McLean, VA

Duration: Long Term

 

 

Specific skills required:

•Middleware admin experience with Weblogic 10.X, Apache, Tomcat, and webMethods 7/8

•3+ years experience with weblogic, apache and tomcat in a Linux/Solaris environment

•Passion for automation of support tasks and improvement of existing processes/procedures; Experience creating and modifying complex Unix shell scripts for automation and monitoring of middleware applications.

•Experience troubleshooting application issues related to middleware integration.

•Experience with creating documentation of project design and processes, giving technical presentations, and code review of work product.

•Demonstrated ability to plan and execute cross-team projects involving middleware in large enterprise environment.

•Demonstrated ability to represent team in assigned middleware lead position in technical product discussions, and standards/architecture review discussions.

•Experience with performance testing of J2EE applications.

•Solid understanding of LDAP, SSL and networking concepts

•Experience working with internal customers to evaluate projects for adherence to standards, best practices and ability to integrate into production environment.

•Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.

•Experience with Remedy or other ticketing system

•Strong verbal and written communications skills; will be required to document activities and any new support processes developed

 

Desired skills: •Experience with J2EE, Java, or Java Scripting web-application development.

•Experience Oracle SOA Suite development or administration

•Experience with Oracle monitoring tools
