Basic Technical Requirements

 

·         Core Java (7 years plus).

·         Struts, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Db2.

·         Strong programming skills with emphasis on J2ee and stored procedures.

·         Onsite-Offshore co-ordination with ability to understand the high-level design and articulate the same with offshore.

 

Desirable Skills

·         Exposure to the Investment banking industry/ Knowledge of accounting.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         UNIX, Job scheduling like Autosys, JobTrac

The successful candidate should have a good track record in development and be prepared to spend time enhancing, developing and supporting the production system. The role also requires offshore-onsite co-ordination and involves hands on development of modules .Excellent communication skills both oral and written are a must since the role involves heavy client interaction including weekly status meetings, dashboards and status updates to executive level stakeholders.

Development duties will include

·         Java/J2ee tech lead working primarily on UI layer and batch using core java ( file handling, threads, exception handling etc.)

·         Onsite-Offshore co-ordination with ability to understand the high-level design and articulate the same with offshore.

·         Ability to work with business and resolve queries from offshore with client SME's.

·         Technically hands on with expertise in Design patterns, Application architecture and complex query resolution.

·         Conduct weekly status calls with onsite and offshore and appraise the client team with daily progress report/dashboard
