We are looking for an iSeries As/400  DB2 DBA with the following criteria:

 

1). Responsible for monitoring the DB2 Database Performance on the iSeries AS/400, will make recommendations and maintain indexes

2). Serve as a point of contact for the Application Development Team, participating in SQL code reviews, ability to model SQL code and make recommendations

3). Review existing queries and database processes – for performance improvements

4). Must have experience with iSeries Navigator and Visual Explain

5). Will assist in the creation of DB2 Documentation for existing processes
