Position : Micro-Strategy Consultant
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 6 months+

Special Instructions
We will need a tenacious personality, who can work with little
direction; drive things forward and pull together efforts on their
own. (not one who sits back and takes direction.)

Responsibilities:
Actively participate in data gathering and requirement sessions with
Business Users
Work with a Business Analyst to document and validate Requirements
Work with other technical resources to understand the Customer data
structures and their data relationships in support of the complete BI
solution
Work within the Microstrategy Architect to enhance existing projects
or to design new projects to support the BI Solution.
Rapidly prototype new reports to validate requirements. Will need to
create temporary data sources and mockup up sample data to support the
iterative development of the BI solution.
Lead the Unit Test and User Acceptance Testing processes to ensure a
high quality BI Solution that meets requirements.
Work with existing client IT resources to move the BI Solution into production.
Provide input to standards, guidelines, processes and best practices
in support of the Microstrategy 9 BI Solution
Create the necessary documentation needed by the client in the ongoing
support and maintenance of the BI Solution.

Qualifications:
Must have a strong background in the Microstrategy 9 Business
Intelligence platform.
3+ years in the design, development, testing and deployment of various
Microstrategy Reports, Dashboards and Scorecards deployed to an
enterprise-wide audience.
3+ years of current experience designing Microstrategy Projects.
•In-depth knowledge of business intelligence concepts, practices, and
procedures with the ability to complete architect BI Solutions
Working Knowledge of data architecture/data modeling, OLAP
Working Knowledge of SQL (Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server).
Excellent communication skills & data gathering skills
