Java Mobile Architect

Location: Washington DC

Duration: 1 year

 

 

- 7+ years experience designing and developing web applications

- Extensive HTML, CSS, and Javascript experience

- Experience with Mobile variant like Jquery Mobile is a Mandatory

- Previous Mobile web development experience in a professional environment.

- Experience with multiple mobile platforms and cross browser strategies is highly preferred

- Experience desired with: HTML5, CSS3, JSON, mobile Javascript frameworks, Phonegap and tool sets (Firebug, etc)

- Experience consuming JSON/REST or SOAP web services and communicating with systems.

- Experience working with a source control like ClearCase, Subversion, or CVS

- Familiar with Agile methodologies, like Scrum

- Understanding and appreciation for Agile development methodologies

- Passion for software development and clean design 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar degree

- Experience with following: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery Mobile or Sencha Touch 

- Experience creating and consuming JSON/REST or SOAP web services and communicating with systems.

- Experience working with a source control like ClearCase, Subversion or CVS

- Familiar with Agile methodologies, like Scrum

- Understanding and appreciation for Agile development methodologies

- Passion for software development and clean Design
