Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Pleasanton CA Local consultant ONLY F2F interview
Duration: 7 months+
Details: Looking for someone with PL/SQL. Forms and Reports, Java (light) and 11g Portal a plus. Also would like good solid communication skills (both written and verbal).
Oracle Requirements
Technical Skills:
Should have around 8+ years of experience
· Strong development experience in PL/SQL using packages, procedures, functions.
· Experienced in Oracle FORMS and REPORTS.
· Practical experience with Oracle database (9i, 10g, 11g).
· Management of various database objects (e.g. tables, indexes, views, etc.
· Familiarity with data dictionaries (e.g. all_tab_columns, v$ views, etc.)
· Proficient in the code tuning and optimization. Can develop Oracle code that runs at optimal performance utilizing hints, cost-based optimizer, and optimal table join method practices.
· Familiarity with development tools such as TOAD, PL/SQL Developer, SQL Navigator.
· SQL* loader
· Thorough unit testing, system testing, analysis, and debugging skills.
· Aid in the creation of installation and deployment documentation
· Unix Kornshell Scripting (nice to have)
