ROLE: WEBSPHERE ADMINISTRATOR

LOCATION--BOULDER, COLORADO
TERM OF CONTRACT--12+ MONTHS

Only GC/Citizen

Description of project/position: 

This is a Senior Technical position and the individual must have strong technical skills and expert knowledge (at least 5 years) on AIX platforms to deploy and administer WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server and Sun One Web Server.   

Additionally, skills in these products would be a plus :

WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Enterprise Bus. The individual must have strong problem determination skills with the ability to lead technical teams during times of critical situations.  The individuals should have excellent written and oral skills.  They will have to document products and processes and provide training to other technical teams on new infrastructure technology. The individuals should have strong scripting skills to work towards automation of day to day tasks.

 

Excellent technical skills administering WebSphere on Unix Excellent communication skills

Must be an expert in WAS for AIX and proficient in WAS for Intel.

Must have some experience with WebSphere porta
