EAD/GC/Citizen

 

·         Demonstrated ability with the Cognos BI Suite of Studio tools, with particular emphasis on Report Studio and Query Studio. Business Insight and Active Reports experience is a plus.

·         Understands and has used the techniques of drill-down and drill-through and can demonstrate deployments using these techniques

·         Understands and has used the techniques of using a single query to drive multiple report containers in a single report.

·         Understand the structure of the Cognos tool and has set up filters, parameters, page space management, content colors, use of images and how to obtain from the server

·         Has added prompting content and techniques for creating output to other formats than HTML.

·         Demonstrated ability to create content according to standard color pallets and logos that customers provide

·         Understands how to distribute reports through a server network and the problems associated with properly structuring the reports so as to keep query performance within limits.

·         Understand how to trouble shoot reports by reviewing the generated SQL or other techniques

·         Works directly with user-stakeholders to develop reports and collaborate with the BI Analyst/Administrator when identifying candidate reports for template. Can understand data models and data specifications.
