Performance Tester
Location: Columbus, OH/CA/MI
Duration: 3 Months
- Able to design, develop and execute functional automation scripts as well as assimilate non functional requirements to create, execute and analyze stable, reusable, and accurate performance test scripts.
- Competency with HP tools suite (Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Load Runner, and Performance Center)
- * Solid workload modeling skills as it pertains to performance testing
- * Ability to elicit non-functional requirements
- * Ability to create "ad-hoc" tests to exploit areas of suspect performance issues
- * Ability to work with automation frameworks to include keyword, data and hybrid driven
- * Proficient in scripting in VB and C languages
- * Experience with agile automation tools, to include SoapUI, Cucumber, and/or Selenium, a definite plus
- *Strong knowledge of testing methodologies to include Agile, Waterfall, Iterative
- *Defines and manages test plans, strategies, results reporting and metrics
- *Designs and executes complex test scenarios, scripts
- * Validates and reports test results
- * Coordinates calendars and plans test runs
- * Analyzes and reviews requirements and technical work products
- * Maps requirements to tests and test results
- * Prioritizes, defines and manages defect reporting and resolution
- * At least two years of recent hands-on experience with automation testing practices and tools
- * Good understanding of Operating Systems, Networks, hardware and common Performance related issues
- * Able to perform root cause analysis and translate test results to produce test reports for various stakeholders
- * Ability to analyze complex systems, project documentation in order to determine appropriate test strategies and translate them into required test documentation
- * Previous experience with estimating test efforts
- * Excellent communication skills
- * Self-motivated and capable of working with others with minimal supervision
- * Flexible - able to present options and seek "best" path when ideal situations do not occur
- * SQL a plus

ü Candidate is going to be the first person in the team to start a program. Customer is looking him to become an anchor/leader for 40 different applications wrt performance testing. Hence, the candidate should be highly pro-active and self-motivated while dealing with the Test activities.
ü Should be hands-on senior Performance Engineer(A performance architect would be best, but somebody who is hands-on is the need). Hands-on in defining the test framework, doing tool evaluation, performing tool fitment, performance scripting, analysis and reporting
ü Should have strong analytical skills
ü Should have onsite customer facing experience
