Project Manager (Data Center Exp)
Position: Project Manager (with HEAVY Data Center experience)
Duration: 2 year in Burlington MA (Must be on site)
Key Requirements:
• Hands-on project manager, who is very familiar with Data Center and their relation to the various stages of the Development and Application Infrastructure type of projects.
• Must be able to work directly with technical leads and engineers to assist them (and in many cases create project management plan from scratch) with project management related activities, coordinate execution, communicate with all stakeholders;
Job Description:
The Data Center Services Team is seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager. The qualified candidate must possess strong writing and interpersonal skills and must be able to work under tight schedule and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Implementing and leading the adoption of the departmental standards for Project Management;
• Assisting in development and implementation of Project Management Framework and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
• Developing project management plans, tracking and reporting on projects status;
• Maintaining coordination and communication among stakeholders, planning and coordinating Technical Reviews with stakeholders;
• Create implementation plans documentation and assist less-experienced Project Managers with their implementation plans.
Requirements:
• Bachelor,'(tm)s degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience;
• PMP Certification
• At least 5 years of professional experience with IT Data Center and Application Infrastructure projects; strategic planning, development, implementation of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software
• Demonstrated experience producing and maintaining baselines, schedules and communication and implementation plans for technical project;
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and leading adoption of project management principles and methods of executing IT projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with process analysis, ability to identify ways to improve the productivity and efficiency of your own work, as well as for others on your project team;
• Ability to work collaboratively in internationally diverse work environment, and strong interpersonal skills;
Desired Skills:
• Project Management Office (PMO) experience;
• Experience with developing, implementing, and leading adoption of ITIL best practices in Service, Infrastructure and Application Management;
