Duration: 6 Month(s) possible extension
Need rates to be around $70 (will consider higher rate for a rock star)
Purpose: Assisting the customer operationalize their Avamar/Data Domain environment. Looking for a resource that could take customer through process of integration of new Avamar/DD platforms in their environment - setup of alerts/monitoring, reporting, runbook updates, etc.
The resident needs to be good at helping a customer to productionize their environment. It would be someone who is familiar with smoothing out the bumps in the road on a typical new install. They would also need be good at setting up process and procedure as well as documentation.
The specific application this system is supporting is Cisco Unified Call Center Enterprise (UCCE). All the components of the application are virtualized with VMware, running on Windows and there is a little MS SQL but its going to be dump and sweep.
The hardware is Cisco UCS and EMC VMAX storage

Additional details:
Customer bought 2 DD 860 Archiver units. They are a NetBackup shop. Their plan is
to deploy a new instance of Netbackup to use with the DD 860s and also introduce OST
as part of the integration. They are also looking for this person to have RMAN backup
experience.
We will be setting up a 100day Archiver policy on the 860s.
The expectations for the resident will be to pick up after the Rack/Stack, Power, Ping is
complete. Handle the OST integration, work with the customer on best practices for
using the DDs in their daily operations and helping with the migrations of clients from
the old environment to the new NBU instance.
