Job Description:

Create test automation and provide test support to the team developing products using the Scrum methodology
Proactively reaching out to QA leads and Product Management to plan out automation efforts  for projects in flight
Will develop black box, white box, and automate testing scenarios; willingness to participate in manual testing efforts, if needed
Will assist in estimating testing efforts, planning implementations, and rolling out system changes for features and enhancements.
Actively call out and determine course of action in regards to changes that may impact overall QA timelines.
Will work with other QA engineers, managers, product management, engineering  to create innovative solutions that  test the product with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, and adherence to quality assurance goals
Participate in product and technology initiatives and recommend improvements.
Identify project risks and make recommendations to reduce those risks.
Develop industry and product technical expertise.

BS/BA in CS (or related field) and 6+ years in requirements analysis, test planning, unit and integrated test case creation, test data preparation, test execution and status reporting for scalable, distributed, multi-tiered, fault-tolerant applications in Windows and Unix environments (or MS and 4+ years)

Experience working in a fast paced Agile environment and manage continuously changing business needs; excellent time management skills required
•    Experience in working closely and building a rapport with developers, product management, and other QA leads;
•    Strong communications required; communicate changes / impacts to QA timelines due to issues, change requests, delays, etc effectively
•    5+ years developing test automation in Perl/ Python and some automation frameworks (like Selenium/JUnit/Jmeter) for testing data driven applications
•    Good working knowledge of Linux system administration
•    Experience writing, modifying, executing SQL queries in an Oracle DB environment
•    4+ years experience in non UI based backend testing
•    Must have flexible work ethic to work with offshore teams.
•    Strong customer/business orientation is a plus
•    Experience testing online banking or bill payment systems or fraud models highly desirable
•    Experience testing C++, Java API – highly desirable
