Description:

Our client needs a MySQL DBA.

 

Must-haves:

1. 2-3 years of MySQL Database Administration experience.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Ability to build out database servers in a Solaris environment.

 

Pluses:

Solaris/ZFS experience.

 

Day-to-Day:

• The group is building out a second data center.
• You will be building out separate servers on nearly 100 master servers.
• You will be in charge of open source data management.
• You will be working on a Solaris/ZFS platform.
• This will also entail replication of servers.
