Position Name: Senior Web Services Developer

Location: Chicago

Start: ASAP

Initial Duration: 3 Months

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience with J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, SML)
• Experience with Web Services and ESB
• Well versed in the use of design patterns and application frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate and Struts
• Working knowledge of WebSphere and/or JBoss application server software
• Relational database experience, preferably DB2 and SQL
• Experience using UML design tools
• Experience with UI (Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience working on project teams utilizing agile methodologies such as SCRUM or XP

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of Java/J2EE, SOA, web services development experience
• Experience analyzing, designing, developing and implementing Enterprise web services for use by web applications/ portals using SDLC methodology and software development best practices
• Experience designing Enterprise services and message model schemas and creating UML diagrams for design phase deliverables
• Expert knowledge of SOA, Object-Oriented design and programming concepts, design patterns.
  Expert knowledge and development experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, JDBC, JAXB, Servlets, RAD 6/7, DAOs, JUnit, SQL, HTML, XML, JAX-WS, WSDL
• Demonstrated experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate, CXF, SOAP, ANT and ANT scripting, Wiley
• Development and troubleshooting experience on the WebSphere Application Server platform
• Knowledge and experience with performance tuning, preferably with enterprise web services
• Knowledge and experience developing portlets using Spring Portlet MVC framework, WebSphere Portal 6.1 and JSR 168 standard is nice to have
• Solid understanding of relational databases and DB2
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
