Position      :    Flash Developer
Location     :    Redmond, WA
Duration     :    3-6 month contract

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly capable ActionScript 3 programmer to develop and improve Flash-based games for a high-profile Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) product. The candidate should have some experience with ActionScript 2, as some conversion/porting to AS3 codebase will be required.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop new features for Flash games
Refactor current codebase and convert/port AS2 to AS3
Develop and implement game APIs for an MMO game system
Work closely with design team to determine engineering solutions

Skills & Qualifications
3+ years experience in Flash/Flex development
3+ years of development experience in the game industry
Experience with Lua
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts and strong architectural skills
Experience following technical designs and specifications
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
