Position Description: Participate in requirements gathering efforts. Design and document web application architecture. Work effectively with Web Developers, Java Developers, and other project staff to successfully implement web applications. Assist Project Manager with developing realistic project work-plans. Comply with project standards and methodologies. Experience Level: 10+ Years.
Skill Set: Strong object-oriented design experience. Experience with relational databases. Strong commitment to developing quality software. Good communication and team collaboration skills. Good multi-tasking skills.
Experience Websphere installation, configuration and support is required. IBM Websphere certified preferred. Willing to work on an on-call rotation on occasion.

Support aggressive WPP release deployments to various WebSphere portal environments from development to pre—prod & production
Solaris and Linux systems automation
Work on server automation, service management, and deployment products.

Experience developing integrated service management solutions to resolve highly complex technical and application issues
Websphere platform running on Solaris and Linux environments.
Ability to write and manage scripts
Perl, vi, Korn, Bourne, Power Shell implementation and support
Desired skills
1. Managing Portal security with integration to Oracle Identity Manager (Oblix) and Oracle Java Directory Server (LDAP)
2. Hands-on on Linux and Solaris platforms with ability to write and manage scripts
3. Good understanding of networking technologies such as firewall and load balancer and be able to translate Portal requirements to necessary changes for firewalls and load balancers.
4. Expert in working with Remedy change, incident and service management.
