Job Description :
Responsible for providing functional support and project development for implementation of SAP processes.
A candidate with SAP experience and Indirect purchasing (a buyer supporting a purchasing group) will be the best fit for this position.
Project Management is key to this role as well, as they would be expected to lead a project team and take charge of it, driving change when needed engaging the those within the organization keeping the team on track.
Extensive knowledge of business processes and application functionality to enable the resolution of complex problems and influence continuous improvement. Configure, evaluate, review, test, and implement functionality, reporting and/or interfaces to support business requirements.
Direct liaison with the Business and other SAP teams to ensure systems requirements; deadlines and priorities are clear and attained.
Knowledge of SAP modules. Experience with functional design workflow, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (WRICEF).
Excellent project management skills and ability to lead a team in a high paced environment.
Requires a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related area and five plus years of experience with SAP.
The PentaSAP Designer is responsible for managing and supporting the business process and system development activities for the PentaSAP Purchasing Implementation. This position requires the ability to lead teams and manage various initiatives within the implementation project. The teams could include Indirect Purchasing (buyers), Operations (requisitioners), PentaSAP conversion team, legacy system team and other functional areas of the PentaSAP team (e.g. Asset team, Finance team, Accounts Payable team, etc.).
Specific responsibilities include:
* Identify gaps between PentaSAP and the current processes to determine the best "To-Be" process and solution
* Review functional design documents for completeness and accuracy
* Write and manage Change Requests to initiate and document additional requirements
* Write and execute validation scripts
* Coordinate the integration of the Legacy systems into SAP (e.g. up front requisition systems)
* Ability to quickly gain working knowledge of the legacy systems, the PentaSAP solution and conversion process to determine the best solution
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with:
*The SAP MM Module in addition to having experience as an Indirect Purchasing buyer (e.g. Sales & Marketing, IT, Services, Capital Equipment, MRO).
* The candidate must have the ability to management diverse teams and champion the best solution for SAP and the end user.
* Previous experience working at Chrysler, specifically in Indirect Purchasing or Finance is also preferred and will be taken into consideration.
* EDUCATION: 10+ years SAP experience OR Bachelor's degree with 2 to 3 years SAP experience required. Degree: Busness or Business Analyst degree preferrered
