We are looking for L2/ L3 Production Support (J2EE)- Baltimore, MD 12 Month Contract Position

 

L3 Production Support

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Application Owners for support to application on tasks assigned.
  • Analyze root cause and resolve production Incidents routed to L3 Queue.
  • Analyze, Estimate, code and Unit test Change Requests < 10PDs effort.
  • Root Cause Analysis for Problem Tickets.

Technical Skill set:

  • Core : J2EE, JSF
  • Additional :   Drools, SQL Server
  • Optional: TIBCO (Client would train the candidate on TIBCO)

L2 Production Services Lead

 

Responsibilities:

  • Should have worked in Onsite/Offshore model in Leading and managing the team ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Good working experience in handling Production Incidents, Outages, involving multiple technologies, like SQL server database, Sybase, UNIX, Java/J2EE, Web technologies.
  • Take complete ownership in providing the timely support to production systems involving sensitive financial data, and appropriate communications, proactive incident analysis to users, client, IT and Business lines.
  • Co-ordinate among Onsite and Offshore team, IT managers, Business managers for resolution and closure of logged production issues and incidents.
  • Good working knowledge in Capital market services/Financial domain is required.
  • Provide the support for applications, and also non-application related problems (including data issues such as data fixes, back outs, restorations and batch support).
  • Support the production deployment process through coordination with Release Management.
  • Co-ordination with third party software suppliers for problem investigation and resolution.
  • Leading, Managing and co-coordinating all activities related to Disaster Recovery(DR) testing, data center power-downs and server maintenance.
  • Leading and managing the production outages, providing the regular status reports to Business users and management.
  • Pro-actively perform root cause analysis of production incidents. Create plan and work with client to take necessary steps to remediate the root cause of production issues.
  • Manage the stability of environments (production and UAT) involving batch and web support, and pro-actively identify opportunities for improvements.
