Duration: 12+ Months
Qualifications:
Insurance Industry knowledge MANDATORY (property, casualty, and health insurance only)
Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, logical design and documentation according to standards and practices used in Claims IT
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to effectively facilitate requirements gathering sessions (JAD sessions)
Capable of consulting with business to provide expertise, impact analysis of business changes/additions, and possible solutions to resolve business needs.
Working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and hands-on experience creating Use Cases, Process Models, and Class and Sequence Diagrams
Develops detailed design specifications for projects and enhancements
Support of application testing events including but not limited to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Proven success working with vendors and on projects spanning multiple departments and business units
Familiarity with user support as well as software troubleshooting skills and techniques
Ability to work as a team member with limited supervision
Ability to understand and learn new systems and application platforms as this is an evolving role
Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited college or university, and seven (7) to ten (10) years enterprise system experience, with some experience at a management level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
