This is a contract to hire position, terms are 3-6 months on contract prior to full-time conversion.  Candidates must be eligible to work for employers without visa sponsorship.  

  JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:  -	This role will be taking a lead in architecting, designing and deploying enterprise business solutions built off Java 1.6, Rich UI and a variety of common open-source development frameworks including Spring and iBatis.  -	This position involves a heavy amount of integrating back-end and presentation layers, so candidates need to have an understanding of WebServices development with open source frameworks as well as a heavy amount of client-side templating with Rich UI (DOJO, Scriptaculous, Backbone.js) as well as JSON / JDBC integration.  -	JSON / JDBC connectivity and a working knowledge of open-source development for Java apps (Spring, MVC, Hibernate, Struts) is required.  -	Any experience candidates have in JavaScript Application Architecture, specifically with client-side template engines such as Backbone.js, Zepto.js, Underscore.js, Mustache.js or iCanHaz, etc is a huge plus!   -	Our client's technical environment also includes working with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins and Hudson.  Any ANT or Maven scripting exposure would be helpful, as this role will need to account for automation in the application deployments.  -	This is a true Technical Architect role – candidates need to have held the title of an Architect before and have demonstrated skills in systems design and specifications.    REQUIRED SKILLS    -	Required Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years IT experience  -	2 years as a Technical Architect or Designer  -	Demonstrated experience in both Webservices and Rich UI Development  -	Skilled in open source frameworks (Spring, iBatis)  -	Strong presentation layer & Rich UI development knowledge using CSS, HTML, JSP, jQuery, DOJO and JSON.  -	Heavy JavaScript application architecture with client-side templating is a big plus.
