C# The Information Delivery Developer position is responsible for providing technical expertise for Data Integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) development for the Think Finance Enterprise Data Warehouse. This position creates solutions to deliver production level data stores that fit into the high-availability, highly responsive Data Warehouse environment. This position will also work with the various business units on special data projects such as third party data packaging, securing and transmitting. This position works closely with other developers, DBAs, application developers, and will partner with internal business reporting analysts. High attention to detail and drive to deliver excellence in every task are core values of the company and a principle characteristic required of this position. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (* Essential Functions) • Execute technical initiatives to define scope and implement data integration solutions. • Coordinate with business areas, IT cross-divisional technical resources and external customers regarding system scope, objectives and solutions. • Act as a technical SME in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new data integration, application, and development. • Collaborates with project managers in developing project plans, schedules, status reporting, and issue/risk management. • Participate in project estimate, development and implementing recommended architecture approaches • Establish appropriate data models to support accepted Data Warehouse architecture • Keep updated with and enforces the data integration development standards and best practices for design, coding, migration and scheduling. • Define data access/organization methods for new data sources that serve as a blueprint of the data upon which all reporting will be built • Participate in brainstorming sessions on functional requirements, content organization, process flow, and technical integration • Provide technical and non-technical documentation of ETL processing and Data structures demonstrating how data is delivered to business partners • Work with Business Reporting Analysts to understand the landscape of the Data Warehouse environment Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 4 years of related experience developing complex Data Integration/ETL applications (SSIS is required) • Using C# to enhance ETL processes and standardization • Broad knowledge of processing XML data constructs • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the standard and best practice for Data integration development practice, experienced in work estimation, performing design review and code review. • Working knowledge on data warehousing methodology, data design, and data modeling/mapping • Minimum of 5 years creating solutions within Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 or higher. Skills and Abilities • 5+ years of professional BI/ETL Development experience, specifically MS SQL Server • Fluid expertise developing Data Integration using SSIS • Expertise in SQL Server 2005/2008 T-SQL and performance tuning • Transactional and Dimensional database design • Programming experience in C# or other .Net language Participate in design sessions with architects and other Developers Must be able to follow all coding policies and standards Required to follow configuration management/version control policies Provide collaborative feedback in peer code reviews Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work to deadlines Results oriented, flexible, and adaptable Must have the desire to work on new, innovative, cutting edge technologies Good verbal communication skills Financial experience is a plus • Master Data Management experience is a plus Thank you, Shweta Kodukula, Talent Acquisition Office Locations: Stamford, CT| We respect your email and Internet privacy.
