 Skills Required and Job Description:

Interview Mode :  telephonic/skype Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required preference for Engineering or Computer Science degree, Master’s degree desirable 6-8 years software development experience in Java Proven ability to design systems and web services for data storage and access that remain highly available at 100s of TPS Proficiency with synchronous and asynchronous patterns of data transport - specifically RESTful web services and messaging / message buses (e.g. JMS, Mule ESB, etc) Experience with HTTP caching technologies (e.g. Reverse proxies such as Squid) Experience with logical and physical database design: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, object data stores, rich media databases, LDAP, PostgreSQL Working knowledge of the technical / functional trade-offs between various storage technologies (e.g. Directories vs Databases vs Search Indices) Thorough knowledge of object-oriented design methodology and standard software design patterns Experience with Java application servers and J2EE containers (JBOSS and Tomcat) Strong technical written and verbal communication in English Additional Qualifications Agile development process. UNIX background (Solaris/Linux) Configuration Management (Chef, Puppet) Excellent experience server application debugging and profiling in multithreaded environments Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, Maven
