Need Websphere Engineer/Administrator

 

Location: Metro Detroit, MI

 

Duration: 6-12+ months

 

Need LOCALS, F2F required

 

Skills:

 

1. Websphere engineering, database server configuration, and administration.

2. Familiarity with backups, recovery and clustering technologies.

3. Familiarity with .NET and/or Java enterprise server platforms (IIS, WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, etc).

4. Knowledge of typical network infrastructure.

Windows 200x Server

Windows XP Professional

Active Directory (Windows 200x)

SQL 200x (Database server configuration and administration.)

Experience in Linux server technologies.

Experience in IBM server technologies, which should include the following:

WebSphere Application Server

DB2 Server

Experience with x86 based servers (Dell and HP)

Experience with server virtualization

Experience with Dell desktops and laptops

Experience with typical corporate Ethernet and wireless networking technologies

IBM Datapower SOA Appliance Server

VMWare Server 2.0 and VMWare ESXi 3.5

Microsoft ISA & IIS
