Job Title: SAP MM/PP System Analyst
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
• The SAP analyst will be hands on, in the areas of configuration and support in materials management, inventory management, purchasing, pricing and promotions.
• He/She will also assist in the integration to/from SAP and non SAP systems, as well as within other modules such as FICO. • He/She will assist in aligning IT objectives with business needs, will work closely with other members of the IT and Finance teams, will lead MM / PP projects and will assist in coordinating and scoping business priorities.
Technical Skills:
• Hands on configuration experience with Production Planning, Inventory Management and Master Data.
• MM/PP Interfaces, ABAP debugging skills and OSS Note review experience is plus.
• Understanding of Material Master / Article Master, Merchandise Hierarchy, Assortments, Pre-Packs, Purchasing, inventory management, movement types, pricing, promotions and bonus buys • Project Management and Team work skills are essential.
• Maintain an effective method of project management as required to adequately control systems development activities and ensure technical viability, functional completeness and timely implementation • Ensure that adequate controls and contingency procedures are incorporated into applications design • Ability to independently manage initiatives and project work with limited supervision
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree mandatory.
• Five (5) to Seven (7) years of SAP MM & PP configuration experience, with full cycle implementation and upgrade experience.
• Minimum of two SAP MM & PP systems project implementations • Working knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies • Understanding of the Operations of a large scale organization • SAP Certification in the MM and PP modules would be a plus.
• Retail industry knowledge a plus
