Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Integration(Java SOA)

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Long Term

 

Summary:

We are looking for a  Software Developers (Integration), Qualified candidates will have industry experience developing integration applications based on service-oriented architecture (SOA).  Candidates must have solid specification, design, development and testing skills, honed through multiple development cycles from inception to release.

Key Responsibilities include:

·         Designing, developing and testing enhancements to existing integration services.

·         Designing, developing and testing new SOA integration applications.

·         Designing new data models and enhancing existing data models.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

·         5-10 years Java software development experience, including J2EE and SOA

·         In-depth understanding of web services and medical data transactions using HL7/SOAP.

·         Good knowledge of ESB, JMS, BPEL, SPRING.

·         Experience with JDBC and Hibernate or other ORM solutions.

·         Excellent understanding of OO principles and web application design patterns.

·         Good communication skills - able to draft high quality specifications and designs.

·         Excellent unit test and integration test skills

Additional skills include: 

·         Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

·         Tools including NetBeans, Eclipse, SVN.

·         JBOSS and Glassfish application servers.

·         Experience with integration servers such as Mirth, Intersystem, HL7BC.
