Role: Sr. Java Developer

Location: Iowa City, IA

Start Date: ASAP

 

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience
• Strong experience required - Seam Weld, Spring IOC
• 5 or more years developing complex systems with Java and JEE
• 3 or more years working with JBoss JEE container
• 3 or more years developing with Oracle PL/SQL
• 3 or more years developing with Hibernate
• Experience with Linux OS helpful
• Experience with Hudson and Maven build systems helpful
• Experience working with distributed teams, including offshore team members
• Working knowledge of JSF and JBoss Seam helpful

 

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain a complex system with multiple integration points
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions within scheduled timeframes
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment or independently
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, required
• Must be self starting and able to work efficiently with little supervision

 

Education

• Minimum:  Bachelor degree in Computer Science (Computer Engineering, MIS or related field)
