Below are the Requirement details:

 

L2 Network Operations Engineer         

10 Months

Jersey City, NJ

 

12hr Shifts/Back end days. Typically Wed- Friday 8am – 8pm. w/ Saturdays every other week.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience, preferably in a large financial establishment or equivalent.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

• Must have extensive experience with:  OSPF, BGP, RIP, STP, Multicast and QoS                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

• Nice to have:  MPLS, Sniffer Analysis, Juniper, F5                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

• Experience reading and decoding packet captures.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

• Expert system level troubleshooter.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

• Strong Communication Skills                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

• Is actively working to complete manufacturers certification track Cisco Systems, Inc. certification of CCIE or CCNP, and/or Juniper Networks, Inc. certification of JNCIE or JNCIP.
