Position Overview:
Client is looking for a Build Release Engineer to join their team with demonstrated experience delivering advanced solutions in a multi-tier environment. You must be highly analytical with the ability to manage technical tasks in a fast paced environment, and work effectively in cross-functional teams. You must have experience in a large scale environment with working knowledge of SCM best practices and applications developed in a SOA environment.
Specific Skills:
Excellent problem solving skills, and attention to detail
Ability to lead others and manage complex technical projects
Experienced w/ releasing software on a large scale, complex J2EE SOA environment
Excellent communication skills
Must have Skills:
3 + yrs of build/release engineering experience
Proficiency in more than one (shell, Perl, Ruby and/or Python)
Experience w/ automated builds & developments to multiple QA environments
Experience w/ Continuous Integration and related tools
Nice to Have:
Experience w. source control tools (ie. SVN, Git, CVS)
Knowledge of Oracle database & Pl/SQL
Knowledge of Java & WebObjects
Unix/Linux administration experience
