Java Developer @ NY

Title: Java Developer

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $48-52/Hr

Design and code from requirements and functional specifications; Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Java application.
Work with staff to ensure smooth & correct operations of web services used by the application.
Develop database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions
Develop, test & execute data management processes/procedures including Schema Review/Optimization
Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency
Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support.
Demonstrated experience with web technologies in a J2EE environment, including Servlets, JSP, Java/J2EE, HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC/Hibernate, iBatis, RMI, and application servers. This should include a minimum of three years experience coding web applications.
Experience with Model-View-Controller pattern and common frameworks such as Spring.
Experience with Ajax frameworks including DWR, JQuery amd DOJO
Demonstrated strong hands-on experience with web service development in J2EE environment, including XML/XSD, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, JAX-WS, WS-Security and MTOM.
Experience with RDBM servers in general, preferably Oracle database servers.
Ability to provide technical solutions for large scalable solutions.
Experience in software design, development, and build tools, such as Ant, Maven, Subversion/CVS, Rational, SQL Developer, and Eclipse based IDEs.
Able to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
Ability to communicate w/ programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specs
Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, written and verbal communication skills.
