My client is looking for a Java Web Developer in Boxborough, MA. This is a 6 Months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.  If this is your area of expertise, please review the job outline and let me know if you share an interest in this role.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         The contractors will be part of a team in a fast-paced agile scrum software engineering environment building advanced call routing capabilities for the next-generation contact center marketplace.

·         Required Qualifications:

·         4+ years application development in Java

·         User-interface development in Javascript, JQuery, or Dojo OR Multi-threaded software development on distributed and/or fault tolerant systems e.g. Financial applications, telecommunications applications or any other type of robust server-side development for a large system

·         Experience with modern software development methodologies including static analysis, code coverage, unit and functional test automation, code inspections, a must. (Must be able to work with existing automated testing tools to automate testing for their own code).Experience using JUnit, groovy, and selenium required.

 F2F is Must after Telephonic.

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

 

·         Experience writing OpenSocial gadgets

·         Experience developing REST APIs and/or SOAP services

·         Experience with Eclipse

·         Demonstrated experience incorporating open source tools and technologies in your day-to-day work

·         Self starter and quick learner

·         Experience developing in great team environments especially Agile Scrum

·         Good communication and collaboration skills
