Client has developed a device with a stereoscopic display that can display 3D images without the need for 3D glasses.
• The device currently connects to a computer via a long cable.
• Client is now looking to develop a similar device that has a portable form factor (tablet size).
• Current plan is to utilize an off-the-shelf Android tablet and replace the electronics with proprietary 3M electronics (including the stereoscopic display).
• The device would continue to run the Android OS.
• Client is looking for a developer that can get the video display working through the new device. Developer would likely need experience with:
o Video driver level development (likely in C) for the Android device
o Familiarity with the Android OS / Linux kernel
o Familiarity with graphics cards to get the 3D video display to work
